Basic Info: My name is Cara, my pseudonym is Lady Flame, my tagline is ‘HOT by name, HOT by nature’, and my circle is called ‘Red Hot Words & Pictures’. I am dyslexic, and have a physical disability called Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, which means that I dislocate my joints easily, but I don't usually let that bother me... however, when my condition affects my wrists and hands, it means that I cannot type or draw.
What Do I Do?: I'm a writer of original, and fan fiction, I also write poetry sometimes... I'm also a Manga-style digital artist, who likes to draw both male & female pin-ups, examples of which you can see above and below.
On the whole I like to create illustrated stories, and my current resolution is to have at least 1 illustration per chapter, or short story that I have written / I’m going to write, and to write some text to go with my favourite past illustrations, which currently only have a story in my head... LOL
Content: Ratings for my writings and artwork covers the full range, from General/Teen, to Mature/Explicit. I am a full grown adult, and as such I often write and draw content that includes mature themes like sex, etc. I'm also a bisexual, and as such write boy/boy and girl/girl pairings, as well as the usual boy/girl stuff that you can find everywhere.
However, please note that I am a lover of Erotica rather than Porn... so rather than hitting you over the head with a blunt object, I prefer to paint the scene and sensations with words, enough to give you shivers hopefully. I'm also a big fan of the 50's style Cheesecake (or Beefcake) Pin-up's, sexy and suggestive, or the classic nude, and a lot of the illustrations for my stories are fully clothed!!
Originally I had an account on an adult blogging site, but the comments got spammed by thousands of junk messages, and tumblr is okay but I wanted somewhere a bit more well adult to post stuff… *sighs* I’m showing my age… though I can fangirl just as well as any teenager sometimes!! LOL
Posting Rules: I always include a full header when posting my work, this includes information on fandom, ratings, pairings, and content tags. I will not be posting adult content directly on this blog... which is why I have left this blog open at the moment, though I may change this later. I will be linking to sites such as Archive Of Our Own and deviantART, both of which have their own screening processes for adult content.
Posting Frequency: I have been writing and drawing for the past 15 years or so, and since I have well over 150 works on my deviantART account to post, I will be posting something every day for a while. Some days there may only be a single piece of my favourite art or fiction, other days you might get an art dump of several pieces on a similar theme. Though they will all be finished pieces of work, I won't start posting previews of work-in-process until I get round to brand new stuff!!
